2023 Toyota GR Corolla HP, Specs, Price – For months, Toyota drivers have been pleading with the carmaker to bring back the GR Yaris. Instead, it’s giving us a new hot hatchback that’s more suited to our country’s roads and more desired. To celebrate its premiere in 2023, the Toyota GR Corolla Circuit Edition is being offered in a strictly limited number of units. The GR Corolla, with its rally-tuned all-wheel drive and widebody styling that’d made a Subaru WRX blush, is poised to muscle its way into showrooms early this year with 300 horsepower squeezed from a little engine.

Exterior Design
Due to an aggressive wide-body redesign, this GR Corolla is 2.5″ wider than the conventional Corolla hatchback. However, its GR’s more pointy body contributes an inch as well as a half to a total length, making it 173.5 inches long. To hide the protruding arches, Michelin Pilot tires wrap around gloss black 18″ cast alloy wheels. The 14-inch, four-piston front brakes, and the 11.7-inch, two-piston rear brakes provide stopping power.

Compared to the normal steel roof, Circuit Edition models have a lighter forged carbon roof, helping to reduce the weight of the hatchback. The speckled aspect of the forging sheet composites differs from that of the more prevalent woven carbon fiber. The hood has a more noticeable power bulge than usual, and the roof spoiler is larger than on the Core model.
The Circuit Edition’s Extreme Metal satin finished paint is only available in white as well as Supersonic Red, while red painted rear calipers with GR emblems are also available. Red highlights adorn the sports seats in the cockpit, which are upholstered in suede.
Interior Design

Toyota’s GR AWD system is the heart of a GR Corolla’s drivetrain. Its GR Four system was created with rallying with a mind as well as fine-tuned with Racing’s WRC technicians & drivers. Based just on GR Yaris’ price, I expect it to start at about $37,000, giving it some wiggle room under GR Supra’s MSRP with both the Circuit Edition costing about $5,000 extra. It will become clearer as we get closer to the debut later this year when additional information will be available.
