2026 Lamborghini Lanzador Specs, Changes, Price

2026 Lamborghini Lanzador Specs, Changes, Price – Lamborghini takes another step into the electric future by showing a concept that would eventually become its first fully electric vehicle. Lamborghini unveiled the concept that would eventually become the company’s first all-electric vehicle. This is the Lanzador.

With the help of advanced software and active technologies, the electric “ultra GT” can transform from a cozy cruiser to a beast of aerodynamic performance. Following the debut of its projected Revuelto plug-in hybrid super sports car, Lamborghini takes another step into the electric future with the introduction of a concept “ultra GT car” that will eventually become its first fully electric vehicle. It’s the Lamborghini Lanzador.

The Lanzador is a long (almost 197 inches from bumper to bumper) and roomy 2+2 coupe that blends aspects of the daily-drivable Urus SUV and the super-sports-coupe-on-stilts Huracan Sterrato. The result is what Lambo calls an extreme GT, which blends the performance of a sports vehicle with the space, comfort, and silent operation of a full-size luxury cruiser.

However, this versatile concept car has a hint of active lifestyle functionality thanks to its liftback design and higher ride height. Stop me if you’ve heard this one before. 2026 Lamborghini Lanzador Specs

Exterior & Interior

Mitja Borkert, Lamborghini’s Design Lead, pointed out to me how the Lanzador uses key Lamborghini design elements like the greenhouse and squared-off shoulders, the single sweeping roofline that goes from nose to tail, and the cab-forward proportions.

Nevertheless, the automaker was able to design a very low sitting position and, ideally, a Revuelto-like driving experience. Due in part to the necessity of building around an electric battery pack and the super GT’s goal of being a comfortable, opulent commuter, the Lanzador is spacious and has a high ride height.

I was mainly interested in the Lanzador’s crazy aerodynamics. Because the Lanzador is a grand tourer that drivers will use on a daily basis, it is not possible to just slap a large wing on the back like the Huracan STO, Mohr said, so the engineers chose to hide one of the most advanced active aerodynamics systems I’ve ever seen inside and beneath the EV’s silhouette.

Motorized aerodynamic elements in the bumpers, rear diffuser, and front splitter immediately increase downforce as necessary. Through louvers hidden below the hood, high-pressure air is sucked from the wheel arches to reduce drag. Carbon-fiber strakes protrude from each side of the rear skylight to channel air over or through the spoiler integrated into the rear decklid. Even additional aerodynamic components hidden on or below the hood are moved by air tunnels in the headlamps.

While watching the Lanzador go from a low-drag cruiser to a high-downforce performer is like watching a Transformer come to life, Mohr was especially impressed with the latest version of Lamborghini’s Integrated Control software. 2026 Lamborghini Lanzador Specs

Engine & Performance

The genre-bending architecture of the Lanzador is supported by a highly customizable and adaptive network of performance technologies. During the concept’s launch, CEO Stephan Winkelmann proposed that a completely electric all-wheel drive system would deliver over a megawatt, or 1,341 horsepower, of power to the wheels.

During a follow-up interview, Lambo CTO Rouven Mohr told me that the Lanzador is likely to stick with two electric motors rather than three or more since the engineers at the company think this is the best combination of power, weight, packaging, and driving experience.

Below the cabin is a high-tech battery pack that provides “long range” and outstanding performance. Lambo has not yet disclosed range goals or capacity, despite Mohr’s assertion that battery technology and chemistry will be shared with other Volkswagen Group members.

“In the future, the hardware will not be the game changer,” Mohr asserts. “The Integrated Control system is essential as it controls the vehicle’s response, even if some hardware is required. Our first electric car is equipped with [software version] 3.0, which integrates all active systems, including active aerodynamics, and gives us a lot more steering choices for the electronic model, allowing us to drive with remarkable performance.”

Lamborghini intends to integrate machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies into the Integrated Control version 3.0 so that it can adapt to the driver and the driving circumstances.

For example, it will be able to adjust the torque distribution of the electric motors and predict grip based on sensor data, or it will be able to observe how the driver behaves on a long, straight highway and adjust the suspension and aerodynamics for increased comfort and range. The Lanzador will also see a stronger focus on driver support technology, as piloted and automated driving technologies are scheduled to launch.

The Lanzador’s double-cockpit cabin is framed by a large center console that reflects the Y-shaped pattern in the headlights. Similar to the Countach’s recognizable pop-up headlights, two screens spring out of the dashboard when the car is starting up to show the driver a digital instrument cluster and entertainment information for the front passenger (or co-pilot).

The steering wheel and center console include unique tactile controls with a sci-fi aesthetic. The cabin is filled with unusual eco-friendly materials, such as recycled carbon fiber suspended in bioresin, sustainably sourced Merino wool, and 3D-printed recycled foam. The flexible second row of the Lanzador may hold two passengers or outdoor gear like a bike or surfboard under its translucent cover. 2026 Lamborghini Lanzador Specs

Conclusion

The company will have five years to polish all the characteristics of the Lamborghini Lanzador before it goes into production in 2028. In the meanwhile, it is expected that a new Urus will be introduced in the following year. Before converting to all-electric power, it will use a new plug-in hybrid drivetrain for the next few years. In 2029, a completely new generation is anticipated to join the Lanzador.
