In all honesty, I think the C40 has a very attractive design. The roofline remains black regardless of the color option, setting it apart from the XC40s. The curving, muscular, squared-off shape of the LED taillights as they descend the back window captivates me. The small ducktail spoiler is another clever aerodynamic element that conceals the hatchback hinges.

Engine & Performance
With the C40’s autonomous starter, you can relax the moment you get behind the wheel. Any time I get in the driver’s seat with the key in my pocket, the C40 will start. When things get rolling, I want to be prepared. Excellent work!
The electric engine in the C40 is so quick that it’s a blast to drive. The C40 is capable of 402 hp and 486 lb-ft of torque because to its four-wheel drive system’s dual motor arrangement. Despite my car’s extensive array of blind-spot monitors and 360-degree cameras, it’s unnerving to look into the rearview mirror and see nothing but the grille.
The fact that the C40 comes equipped with every conceivable driver assistance gadget is one of its many excellent features. Included with this package are front and rear park assist systems, lane keeping assist, blind spot monitoring, and road sign recognition. When paired with Pilot Assist, adaptive cruise control makes driving more pleasant by keeping you at a set distance from the car in front of you and in your lane. While this technology does lean somewhat toward the passenger side, it usually runs without a hitch.
