Stiff and slick leather covers the seats like vinyl coated in the rubbery material used on the grips of the pair of pliers, making them uncomfortable to sit on. There are, however, Sensory models using semi-aniline leather, and it should be a significant improvement.
However, the QX55’s driving qualities don’t match its athletic appearance. Infiniti’s manners are fine, but the car itself is uninspiring and uninteresting. With the stock steering wheel, this car is at best uninspiring. There is a noticeable lag in the gear ratio, and the wheel feels a little lifeless in the hand.

But at least the seats in the front are pleasant, thanks to the zero-gravity design of parent firm Nissan. They’re as comfortable as your living room’s recliner because they’re both soft and supportive. The QX55’s backseat is equally comfortable. This vehicle’s sporty roofline belies the surprising amount of headroom and legroom it provides. The backrest and legroom may both be easily adjusted for optimum comfort.
The amount of room available for cargo is astounding. A total of 26.9 cub feet of space can be found behind the backrest of the vehicle. When the 60/40-split component is collapsed, the volume increases to a whopping 54.1 cubes of usable space. The QX55 has a lot of common technology. That means this Infiniti is around $5,000 less expensive than just a BMW X4 and GLC Coupe. Audi Q5 Sportback is $1,900 less expensive than this model.
