2023 Mitsubishi Outlander Configurations: The Interior Is Absolutely Lovely

2023 Mitsubishi Outlander Configurations: The Interior Is Absolutely Lovely – Mitsubishi’s product line extends far beyond automobiles. From televisions as well as satellites to air conditioning units to nuclear reactors, this Japanese behemoth has it all covered. The only spiral escalator in the world, according to the triple-diamond company? Despite revolutionary goods in other industries, Mitsubishi hasn’t had a car I can recommend in quite some time. The 2023 Outlander, on the other hand, has undergone a significant upgrade and should be added to your SUV purchase list.

Exterior Design

Since 2016, Mitsubishi has collaborated alongside Nissan & Renault on various projects. Belonging to this multinational automotive alliance provides the corporation with numerous advantages, such as access to multiple platforms and cutting-edge technologies. For this reason, the new Outlander is, at its core, a Nissan Rogue. Even though both cars share a drivetrain and many primary dimensions, they are not exact replicas. This 2023 Outlander’s tune and interior materials are entirely new. The Outlander is built in Japan, whereas the Rogue is put together in Tennessee, which contrasts significantly.

This SUV’s cabin is surprisingly quiet when you’re not driving it at full throttle. This is a surprising level of quietness for a popular SUV, especially considering its size and power.

This particular Outlander’s perforated leather-covered thick steering rim has a nice feel and is devoid of kickback. The Outlander’s standard 18-inch wheels look great, but my examiner’s 20″ wheels look even better, and they don’t detract much from the ride. However, this machine isn’t abusive in any way.

2023 Mitsubishi Outlander Cargo Space

As a sports utility vehicle (SUV), the Outlander isn’t as sporty as Mitsubishi wants you to believe. However, burying the pedal does not make this vehicle feel any more lively than other car-based utility vehicles, which is great. Although it isn’t perfect, it does well for that it is.

Interior Design

In addition to looking better on the outside, the revamped Outlander is more functional. It only takes a few seconds to recognize that this is a new generation of Mitsubishi, plus that’s a pleasure to drive. Seriously. 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander Configurations

This SUV’s cabin is truly stunning, from the clean, beautiful dashboard style to the comfy first and second-row chairs to the generous use of high-quality materials. It has actual metal center console decor with exquisite contrast-color stitching and semi-aniline leather upholstery on this SEL Touring variant. Designers have incorporated a slight diamond texture into the window switches, which are seen on its air vent slider, the music controls, and the driving mode selection. Although the piano-black accents constantly draw smudges, this SUV does not seem cheap or flimsy, but be conscious of all that and make sure to carry some wet wipes.

Bucket seats are flexible enough to fundamentally reshape your body while being supportive sufficient to avoid weariness on extended journeys in the Outlander. The back row is comfortable, but there could be a little more space. The third-row seat is what sets this vehicle distinct from the competition. On paper, this seems like an amazing feature, but in practice, it’s a tiny detail that even Mitsu employees are aware of. If you expect to fit your 6 foot 4″ grandfather inside there, don’t bother trying. It won’t end well.

Outlander has a lot of technology, making life a little bit easier. It’s standard on all versions and even wireless on the SE and above. Of course, Android Auto is also supported, but you’ll need to bring a wire with you. In case you’re wondering, USB Type-A and Type-C ports are available. 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander Configurations

2023 Mitsubishi Outlander Review

The 8-inch infotainment screen is standard on lower-end Outlanders, but this one has a fancy 9-inch touchscreen with integrated navigation and a wireless charging pad. No complaints about the infotainment system, which is easy to use and quick to respond to your commands. A 12.3″ configurable instrument panel and a 10.8″ color head-up screen are both available if you feel the need for extra screens in your life.

Blind-spot tracking and automatic lights are among the other available technologies. However, the Outlander could be outfitted with many more. Additionally, Mitsubishi’s variant of Nissan’s ProPilot adaptive cruise scheme with lane centering is a must-have feature. Mi-Pilot Assist Compared to other systems, this feature works exceptionally well, correctly tracing road lines and delivering a significantly firmer feel. When you activate the mechanism, the Outlander resembles a guided missile.

This 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander has only one available drivetrain: a 2.5-liter four-cylinder with a CVT, except for the hybrid model, and is still the previous generation model (for the time being, at least). You’ll recognize this powertrain mix if you’ve ever driven a Rogue. 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander Configurations

2023 Mitsubishi Outlander Engine

The engine produces 181 horsepower plus 181 of torque, but it isn’t quite enough power for the vehicle. A little more oomph would be welcome when you’re hauling a heavy load or driving in normal conditions, but this output is fine when regularly going. With its turbocharged rivals, including Ford Escape, Honda CRV, and Mazda CX-5, this Mitsubishi feels like it’s a stride or three behind them at times.

The top-of-the-line all-wheel-drive vehicle we’re looking at here gets 24 city mpg, 30 highway mpg, and 26 combined mpg. Using a combination of both, I’ve been averaging over 30, which is impressive. This Mitsu is remarkably inexpensive because it has a CVT transmission. Even though many car enthusiasts aren’t fans of these transmissions, this one works quite well for what it is, responding swiftly to throttle input while replicating gear changes under solid acceleration.

2023 Mitsubishi Price And Release Date

Mitsubishi dealerships should have the 2023 Outlander in stock very shortly. Typically, a front-drive ES costs around $27,000, but this SEL costs $37,995, which is quite a bit more. After adding the Touring Kit, a few extras, plus $1,195 for delivery fees,  this Mitsubishi becomes even more enticing.

The Outlander’s fineness, lovely cabin, and user-friendly technology are difficult to argue with, even if the CVT isn’t always my cup of tea. This vehicle may even be better than the Nissan Rogue, which is a big victory for the Mitsubishi brand. 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander Configurations
