2024 Acura Integra Interior: All You Need to Know – By bringing back its Integra nameplate, Acura gave fans permission to compare the new hatchback to the legendary Integras of the past. New 2024 Integra is precisely what it ought to be, but naysayers keep harping on the fact that it isn’t a true successor to high performance.
2024 Acura Integra Changes
2024 Acura Integra Exterior
Having a continuously variable transmission (CVT) makes the Integra more appealing to a larger audience than that of the manual only Civic Si. The Integra is a fantastic choice for learning how to operate a manual transmission vehicle. The take-up point for the light clutch is easily identifiable, and the stick has short, firm throws. Automatic rev-matching is standard on the Integra, just as it is on the Si, and it makes the manual much more merciful (as well as easier to handle) in the city or in stop-and-go traffic. You may disable it if you want to, but I never will.
Adaptive dampers are standard on the Integra A-Spec/Tech trim, regardless of transmission, which may be why Honda decided to remove them from the Civic Si. (You do realize that the Acura deserves a few special touches, right?) In comparison to the Civic, its Integra’s Comfortable as well as Regular settings provide a softer ride, while switching to Sport significantly stiffens the dampers to achieve precise handling without undue roughness.
The Integra’s weighty steering is a pleasure to use; it’s responsive and provides enough information regarding the car’s grip at ground level. 17″ come standard, while 18s come on the A-Spec and A-Spec/Tech, both of which are equipped with 235/40 Continental tires, larger 19s are offered through Acura’s accessories and parts catalog. However, unlike the Civic Si, which can be purchased on Eagle F1 road tires for about $201 more, the Integra cannot be ordered from the factory with these tires already installed.

Passive and active safety features, such as adaptive cruise, lane keeping, lane departure warning, and much more, are standard on every Acura Integra. Adaptive cruise control is available on Acuras with the manual transmission, although the Traffic Jam Assist feature cannot be used at low speeds.
A-Spec and Tech trim levels, on the other hand, feature a larger 9″ touchscreen infotainment that is powered by a modified version of the software found in the Civic Si. Apple CarPlay as well as Android Auto, as well as a wireless charging pad, USB-A ports, plus USB-C ports, are standard. However, regardless of trim level, all Integras feature a 10.3″ digital gauge cluster, albeit with less impressive colors as well as graphics than those seen in competing luxury companies’ systems. The base and ordinary A-Spec Integras get a 7″ screen with wired phone connection. To top it all off, this Audi has a virtual cockpit.
The Integra’s interior is nearly identical to that of the Civic, but for a greater variety of color options and marginally more upscale materials. My A-Spec/Tech tester’s front seats are upholstered in leatherette with microsuede inlays, but the back bench is much more plainly upholstered. The Civic Si lacks heated front seats, but the Integra has them standard across the board, maybe another attempt at making the Acura seem much more upmarket than it actually is.
The Integra’s hatchback design and larger trunk (24.4 cubic feet) make it a superior transport vehicle to the Civic Si’s sedan body. The load-in height is very high above the rear bumper, making it difficult to load large things even when the rear seats are folded flat. Competition from boxier rivals, such as the Volkswagen Golf GTI, makes packing a breeze. 2024 Acura Integra Interior
That reminds me to make a quick complaint from my soap box: I need a rear wiper. Acura assured me that the Integra’s fastback profile is so aerodynamic that raindrops will be blown off the windows by the wind. That doesn’t help me, though, when I need to wipe away the morning dew or night rain before I can reverse out of my driveway. What little aerodynamic drag a windshield wiper might generate wouldn’t likely be noticeable to the naked eye or when factoring in fuel economy. True, this Honda Civic hatchback does come equipped with a wiper for the rear window.
2024 Acura Integra Engine
In keeping with Acura’s past, Integra’s architecture is mostly borrowed from the Honda Civic Si. The Integra has traditionally been based on the Civic, but the new model is essentially a Si hatchback with more luxury features and improved handling than anything Honda currently offers. Additionally, compared to the dowdy previous ILX, the new 2024 Integra offers a much more attractive entry point into the Acura portfolio. 2024 Acura Integra Interior
The Integra has the same 1.5-L turbocharged I4 engine that produces 201 horses and 193 of torque as that of the Honda Civic Si because the two cars share their platforms. The Integra has a CVT as standard equipment, while the Si has a 6-speed manual as standard equipment. It’s odd that the stick is only available on the top-tier Integra A-Spec with the Technology Packages, although Acura reports that more than half of any and all Integra presales are equipped with this desirable upgrade.
2024 Acura Integra Price and Release Date
The MSRP for a base model Integra is $31,896, plus $1,095 for delivery, whereas the MSRP for an A-Spec/Tech with either a CVT as well as manual transmission is $36,896. That’s thousands less than competitors such as the Audi A3 but also CLA-Class, despite their plusher interiors, and thousands less than a fully-loaded Golf GTI, that is less expensive overall but less fun to drive. 2024 Acura Integra Interior
Although the Integra appears to be a pittance compared to certain other luxury compact cars, the Civic Si remains the more direct competitor. The A-Spec/Tech package adds certain niceties and conveniences over the Si with summer tires, although I’m not positive it’s worth the extra $8,001. When considering alternatives to the base as well as midrange Integra, it’s hard to look past the well-appointed Civic Sport Touring hatchback ($31,146 plus delivery) or even the turbocharged Mazda3 ($32,916).
