2022 Nissan Sentra Colors – This Is A Nice Looking Sedan – Nissan Sentra’s new model, the 2022 Nissan Sentra, is a competent but unremarkable vehicle. In spite of Sentra’s eye-catching exterior design and upscale interior appointments, the overall driving experience is marred by a few nitpicky flaws.

Exterior Design
The Midnight Edition Package is now available for the 2022 Sentra. For a more sinister appearance, this optional group, available on the top-of-the-line SR trim, darkens the grille, exterior trim, and the 18-inch wheels. An all-weather package has been added to the mid-range SV models that contain dual-zone climate control, butt-warming seats, a heated steering wheel, and remote start. Even though these updates are subtle, they assist Sentra to stay current with rival small sedans that offer a more premium driving experience.
The exterior of the vehicle is the only area that does not need improvement. Maxima-like proportions are evident in this handsome vehicle. The sophisticated Sentra is more attractive than that of the Honda Civic but also less flashy than the Elantra’s diamond-cut face. The black-and-white color scheme of this Sentra makes it difficult to photograph, but it doesn’t show as well as brightly colored Sentras. There are four two-tone paint jobs, as well as eight single-color options, on the menu.

The spherical air vents on the center console, as well as the climate controls and the heated steering wheel, make this car feel like a high-end luxury vehicle. The Sentra’s interior technology is adequate, but it appears dated in comparison to the Elantra’s dual 10.3-inch screens. Both the highest Sentra trims have a couple of USB ports at the center stack’s base, one type-A, and one type-C, to keep your mobile devices charged at all times.
The Sentra’s Zero Gravity seats, which Nissan is famous for, fall short of Nissan’s usual high standards for comfort. Though heated and equipped with six-way power lumbar and a lumbar-adjustable driver’s chair, these buckets only provide adequate thigh support due to an unadjustable edge on the bottom cushion’s front edge. Because of this, you may feel as if you are sitting too low to the floor.
A Sentra’s backbench has plenty of legroom and is wide enough to accommodate even the lankiest adults. In addition to the fold-down armrest in the middle, the reading lights mounted on the ceiling are a nice touch. In SV and SR models, passengers will have to share a single USB type-A port. When the 60/40-split rear backrest of this Nissan is folded down, the trunk’s capacity rises to 14.3 cubic feet, giving the vehicle more usable cargo space. That’s 0.1 cubic feet more than an Elantra, but it’s a hair less than what Civic offers. It’s impressive how comparable these three vehicles are in terms of cargo space.
The steering of the 2022 Nissan Sentra is so neutral that it’s easy to forget about it while driving. The handling is okay for a sedan of this type but never implores you to go out for a drive. It’s neither sporty nor sloppy like a dump truck. However, the ride quality is less than ideal. There are small vibrations as well as bumps that permeate the suspension when things get busy. Wind noise is much more noticeable than I’d like at highway speeds, which further degrades the overall experience.

2022 Nissan Sentra Engine
Sentra’s only engine option is a 2.0-liter I4; the competition has a plethora of options. Without the aid of any kind of forced induction, this engine is able to produce 149 horsepower as well as 146 pound-feet of torque.
Because it’s only equipped with a CVT, this compact sedan moves along with a fair amount of authority, but it’s hardly quick. A little more oomph and insulation would go a long way in making the Sentra more comfortable on the highway. Under load, the engine makes a hoarse moan that sounds like it belongs in an intensive care unit. In terms of performance and overall satisfaction, this CVT excels, but at the expense of an even louder droning noise.
At the very least, this set-up of drivetrain components is cost-effective. The combined city/highway/combined fuel economy for the S as well as SV models is 29 mpg. An estimated 28/37/32 returns for the top-shelf SR variants. I’m getting about 30.5mpg in mixed driving, which is a little less than the merged rating, but not by that much.

Nissan’s small sedan has a slight pricing benefit over its main rivals at both ends of a model range as a result of this.
However, the 2022 Sentra is a great small car, but still, it falls short of the segment’s leaders. The Honda Civic has a more pleasant ride, the Mazda3 has a more lively ride, and the Hyundai Elantra is noticeably more outgoing on the inside as well as the outside.
