2023 Aston Martin Vantage Price: Prices start just under $180,000 – Unlike many other car companies, Aston Martin doesn’t put on a show just to put on a show. It’s a touch AutoZone-chic, but this Vantage’s front canards and large rear wings are actually designed to help it perform. Other than the added features, the F1 Edition’s improvements make it a more enjoyable car to drive than a standard Vantage, albeit this isn’t always the case.
2023 Aston Martin Vantage Changes
Exterior Design
As a nod to Aston Martin’s F1 safety car, the F1 Series is more than simply a cosmetic upgrade for the Vantage. Further 441 lbs of downforce are generated via a full-width frontal splitter as well as underbody aerodynamic adjustments, which are combined with the slapped-on wing. 2023 Aston Martin Vantage Price
F1 Edition sports a stronger front brace than that of the regular Vantage, as well as a revised damper setting and firmer rear springs, as well as an electronic limited-slip differential that has been recalibrated for better performance. For the summer, Pirelli P-Zero tires are used on the standard car’s 20-inch wheels. 2023 Aston Martin Vantage Price
Interior Design
This is a better-looking Vantage, but same issues persist. I often have to touch the drivetrain as well as suspension toggle switches just on steering wheel 2 to 3 times just before Vantage recognizes my request. The steering wheel controls are hit-or-miss when it comes to responding. Additionally, there are no driver assist technologies to speak of, except from a nice 360-degree camera. It’s not a huge deal for a sports vehicle like the Vantage, however Porsche provides a ton of technology on the 911 line, so it’s worth highlighting.
General technological issues remain a major source of contention for the Vantage. There is an old edition of Mercedes’s comand system running on the dashboard’s 8-inch display, with dull colors and low-res Arial font. It has been there for almost a decade. You can only control the multimedia system through a knob just on the console because this isn’t a touchscreen. No, it’s not. No, it’s not. Friends, it’s not so in 2010.
The Vantage’s cabin has a lot going for it, even if you don’t care about the technology. Contrasting stitching on my testing vehicle’s black plus gray colour theme is a nice touch for the F1 Edition. The Alcantara imitation suede and leather look and feel soft, yet the seats are supportive and comfortable all at the same time.
The opposite is also true: there are as many items to despise. Aside from a lack of storage and a jumbled center stack, the air vents look and feel poor. The knobs and buttons are dispersed throughout the vehicle in an unorganized fashion, making it more difficult to quickly locate basic features like seat heaters, especially while driving. There is a plasticky feel to all of the buttons, making them unappealing to touch. Even while the Vantage’s leather is quite nice, the interior’s finer features truly let it down.
2023 Aston Martin Vantage Engine
In little time at all, you’ll notice a noticeable difference in the performance of this Vantage. The F1 Edition is more agile and responsive than some other Vantage versions because of the enhanced torque distribution, as well as the Pirelli tires. The stiffer suspension and larger wheels mean this isn’t the best car for daily use; you’ll feel every bump, but on flat highways, the chassis is razor-sharp. Additional carbon ceramic brakes cost $10,600 and are outstanding in terms of stopping power. If anything, the Vantage’s numb steering is the only gripe I can muster.
Even though the F1 Version’s 0-to-60 mph time is just a second better than that of the regular Vantage, the extra 25 horsepower is barely noticeable. No problem; the low-end torque is sufficient to be get you going, and so this engine loves to rev. 2023 Aston Martin Vantage Price
While this Aston Martin’s engine shares the Mercedes-AMG GT’s bass-heavy rumbling, this Aston’s sound is more refined and refined. Its Vantage’s 8 automatic gearbox, which is delighted to downshift under braking, also works well with this V8. Also, kudos to Aston Martin for perfecting the paddle-shifter design, even if the transmission isn’t incredibly responsive when utilized in this manner.
2023 Aston Martin Vantage Price and Release Date
Unfortunately, the standard Vantage starts at $142,087, which includes a hefty destination charge of $3,087. For $165,087, you get the F1 Edition, which has ceramic brakes as well as an enhanced audio system; my tester costs $177,687. The Porsche 911 Turbo costs a few thousand dollars more. A richer interior and more technology can be found in the less priced Carrera GTS as well, which is just as swift and sharp as the more expensive 911 S.
