2023 Acura Integra Interior – Basically a Civic Si Hatchback – Once again, the Acura Integra can be found on the road. For those of us who haven’t seen the production-ready hot hatch that will be on the market next year, Thursday’s prototype Integra is an excellent starting point.

Many of the Integra’s underpinnings are shared with the Honda Civic Si, however the hatchback design is exclusive to Acura’s new model. It’s for this reason that Honda won’t produce a Civic Si five-door.) Though we’d seen teaser shots of a Integra’s headlamp as well as roofline before, the finished product is something we can get behind. 19-inch wheels, LED lighting throughout all four corners, Acura’s pentagon grille, as well as arrow side surfacing are all features of the prototype.
The bases of the headlights and taillights are each emblazoned with Integra inscriptions. Thanks to the D-pillar kink being removed, the Integra’s hatchback & greenhouse look cleaner than the Civic’s. Indy Yellow Pearl paint and side artwork, at the very least, will be carried through to the final production model.
Most of the other Integra’s suspension components might be adapted from Honda’s sportiest hatchback, the Type R. Fixed dampers and then a firmer suspension will likely remain in the Civic Type-chassis, R’s which is expected to be similar to the Civic Si. If reports are to be believed, Acura is developing an Integra Type S that is both sportier and even more powerful than the current Civic Type R. That’d be a dream come true.

The interior of the prototype is not visible, although it is expected to be larger than that of the Civic sedan as well as hatchback. Expect livelier seats, better materials, and a huge touchscreen combined with such an electronic gauge cluster in the new model year. 2023 Acura Integra Interior
2023 Acura Integra Engine
Because both the Civic Si and the Integra use the same platform, the powertrains aren’t a surprise. An 1.5-liter turbocharger I4 motor with over 200 horsepower is expected to power the vehicle. 192 pf torque is produced by this engine in the Civic Si.) The six-speed manual gearbox previously revealed by Acura, that has the same shifter as that of the Civic Si, will also be available for the Integra. There is an automatic rev-matching feature for those who opt for the manual transmission. A mechanical limited-slip joint will be standard on the Integra, as will Brembo brakes, which are featured on the prototype but are not expected to be offered on the regular model.
2023 Acura Integra Price and Release Date
Acura expects a starting price of $30,000 and a spring 2019 release date for the new model. We’ll know for sure when Honda’s Marysville, Ohio, facility begins manufacturing of the 2023 Integra next year. 2023 Acura Integra Interior
