2027 Chevy Silverado Specs, Redesign, Review – The Chevrolet full-size truck has been reintroduced with considerable interior and technology modifications. The Chevy Silverado served its owner well until it developed a mechanical problem. When compared to the more modern, technologically sophisticated cars, the older full-size trucks appeared little antiquated. After a complete redesign, Big Bowtie’s half-ton pickup truck, the 2027 Silverado, is back for another round of competition, and this time it’s packing some unexpected upgrades.
There may be subtle updates to the 2019 Silverado that go unnoticed at first. Front fascia trim may have improved the Silverado, albeit that wasn’t the primary goal. My High Country test car has a grille that looks like an air conditioner, but it’s still very cool. The retractable side stairs, which cost $1,495 when not in use, make getting in and out easier for shorter individuals. The Multi-Flex tailgate, which costs $445, adds a lot of functionality to the bed. 2027 Chevy Silverado Specs

Exterior & Interior
Upon opening the door, you will be greeted by something even more impressive than the 2027 Silverado. Imported design cues from GM’s full-size SUVs inform the upgraded cabin seen in the LT and higher trim levels. A combination of plush seating, sparse use of plastic, and tasteful wood accents creates a relaxing atmosphere in the cabin. The fact that there is some consistency between generations, with familiar switches in familiar places, is sure to be appreciated by those who have had vehicles for a long period.
Given that automobiles have evolved to serve both residential and commercial purposes, the Silverado’s versatility is not unexpected. The roomy door pockets and three separate trays in the middle console provide more than enough room for all of your possessions.
My favorite feature is the hidden container behind the infotainment screen, which is second only to the big storage area beneath the armrest. By lowering the seats, which also serve as storage, you may create more space in the second row. Assuming you aren’t hauling people but rather buckets, the rear seat is nearly as spacious as the front.
A substantial technical boost is now standard on all Silverado models, all thanks to the redesigned interior. A 13.4-inch widescreen touchscreen, which is standard on all new Chevrolet automobiles, provides access to the most modern infotainment software.
Switching to split-screen mode may make better use of the space, but the left-hand dock allows you easily swipe between sites. Access to the internet The most interesting upgrade is the abundance of new Google connections, even if Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are already standard features. I can use my laptop or mobile device to search while driving because it comes with Google Maps and a voice assistant, among other things.
On a side note, my High Country tester has a fantastic and stylish 12.3-inch digital gauge display. You may see various types of car data displayed in different parts of the screen thanks to the four alternative layouts. However, installing Google Maps is not an option; you can only activate navigation and view the next turn and distance to it on the gauge cluster.
When I purchased the Tech Package, I had the option to add a full-color HUD for an extra $1,870. This would bring all the important information even closer to my position. Passengers in the front row get access to a 110-volt power outlet as well as two USB-A and two USB-C ports, while those in the back row only get one of each.
Much of it is extraordinary, but it isn’t limited to General Motors or the 2027 Silverado. The second one, though, is it familiar to you? Risk-Taker Hero. The High Country variant adds another $60,000 or more to the price, but it’s money well spent. With the system’s indicators shown plainly on the HUD, gauge cluster, and elegant LED array in the steering wheel—just like Tesla’s Autopilot or BlueCruise—the ride is calm and easy to comprehend. When the light turns green, you may swiftly accelerate the truck to highway speed by pressing the Super Cruise button.
Always keep your eyes and mind on the road when operating Silverado Super Cruise. This huge metal item is superbly kept from wandering off the road by the most recent version of this application. The most recent update adds the option to automate lane change, or you may utilize the turn signal stalk for manual lane shifting.
Super Cruise is another option. In most cases, the steps are simple and quick. Super Cruise’s inability to stay in the left lane when forbidden is something I particularly like. As an example, the system can avoid slowing down quicker traffic by detecting an open lane on the right and shifting to it. This is an area where it outperforms the vast majority of human drivers. 2027 Chevy Silverado Specs

Engine & Performance
The 2027 Chevrolet Silverado is virtually indistinguishable from any other pickup vehicle but for that one feature. You may choose from a diesel inline-6, a turbocharged inline-4, or one of two V8s; the top-of-the-line 6.2-liter V8 that came with my test car had 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque.
It is not very fuel efficient, since I can attain, but not easily exceed, the 15 mpg indicated by the EPA in the city and 20 mpg on the interstate. With so much power, the maximum tow rating rises to 13,300 pounds, surpassing Ram’s 1500 but falling short of the F-150. The 10-speed automatic gears change without a hitch, but the car’s too sensitive throttle makes it hard to get going quickly at low speeds.
When negotiating twisting forest backroads, the Silverado sways like a huge Jell-O bowl, as one would expect from a truck. Even without passengers, the $900 adaptive suspension on my test car makes driving pleasant by dampening the impact of most road irregularities. I don’t see the need of the Silverado’s Sport setting because it makes the entire car seem shaky.
2027 Chevy Silverado Safety Features
Whether you choose for Super Cruise or not, the 2027 Silverado comes standard with several safety technologies. Automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, lane keeping assist, and lane departure warning are all standard features.
Although the parking sensors are included in the Technology Package, my tester did not have them enabled due to issues in the supply chain. But the window sticker makes it very obvious that you may utilize a $50 credit for a retrofit once all the parts are ready.
2027 Chevy Silverado Release Date & Price
The price of a brand-new 2027 Chevrolet Silverado is likely to be high. The standard cab Work Truck starts at $36,395 with an upgraded cabin available for an additional cost. Prices begin at $42,095 for variants with a crew cab and rear-wheel drive.
At least $50,000 will get you inside that brand-new cabin, but my luxurious High Country tester cost $60,300. On top of the aforementioned upgrades, my tester comes with a sunroof, improved alloys, and a 6.2-liter V8 engine, all of which add $2,425 to the price. The shockingly high price tag for the window sticker is $72,870.
Electrification too has its share of problems. The Silverado EV, in contrast to the present Ford F-150 Lightning, is exclusively offered as a $100,000 bespoke moonshot. You can get your hands on the base XLT model with the standard-range battery for as low as $53,000.
The Ram 1500 has modest hybrid power, which is still impressive, and the F-150 also comes in a gas-electric hybrid version. The 2027 Chevrolet Silverado is a desirable vehicle regardless of battery life because to its first-rate cabin and well-balanced killer technology. 2027 Chevy Silverado Specs
